MTV

Let’s Break the Internet.

Unknowingly, people have been selling themselves to the internet. Using radical madness, MTV is exposing the harm caused by the manipulative machine in order to once again inspire culture the correct way. Become a participant in valuable entertainment again, not a servant to the viral virus.

Become a participant to entertainment again and put an end to being a servant to the viral virus. MTV’s Unplugged music tour is a first step in getting your mind back into your own control. Each concert will showcase lesser known local bands with one secret major headliner in each city. The price of admission is giving up on social media for 30 days. Leave your phone behind and come together to be present for music once again.

Made:

Life without a phone for days on end may seem too far out of reach. But, MTV’s self-improvement reality show, MADE, is coming back to get participants from a state of online addiction to offline freedom and showcase the harm caused by the internet. As the mental health stability and re-entering into community begins by the end of each episode, it’ll be difficult to not crave the recovery of a life offline.

Catching Catfish:

That is also why MTV will be doing an extension to their show Catfish by bringing it into the world as a speed dating event. The Catching Catfish event will take place across the country on college campuses and get young adults talking instead of swiping. Connection isn’t as far as it seems once we put our phones down and look up and into our hearts.

Have a Say:

Despite the feeling of disconnection you’ll be more connected than ever. The voice you believed you had online that fell deep into algorithm landfills is finally yours to be heard again. The anti-social media MTV talk-show, Have a Say, is giving a platform for voices of America’s youth and bringing real problems to the main stage. Rock the vote and rock out with real change.

MTV x Light Phone:

You might be asking what you do when Nick asks for your number? How could life offline truly work? Well, welcome Back to the real world with MTV’s collaboration with the Light phone. An anxiety free, social media free, internet free phone that allows for texting, calling, and listening to music. That’s it. A revolution in what a phone should be promoting how a day should be lived.
